KARGIL DAY

 

As instructed by the ANO,  KARGIL DAY was conducted as a remembrance, an 'Amar Jawan' poster making competition was held among the cadets in honor of the heroic death of the jawans.

                 

TREE PLANTATION PAKHWADA


Tree Plantation Pakhwada' was conducted proudly by planting a sapling of tree in cadet's home compound.

FACILITATION OF KANNUR UNIVERSITY DISTANT EDUCATION EXAMINATION

 


As instructed by the ANO, Kannur University distant Education Examination, our NCC unit took duty for facilitating the examination under COVID- 19 Protocol. The Duty was started on 06/07/2020 to 14/07/2020 (7 working days). On 10th july, HonourableWayanad District Collector  Dr. Adheela Abdulla IAS visited the college.

















BLOOD DIRECTORY

 

A Blood Directory was prepared with the details of the blood groups of the cadets, who are residing near mananthavady and communicated to the District Hospital, so that availability of blood could be ensured when needed.



INTERNATIONAL DRUG ABUSE DAY


28th June 2020 International Drug Abuse Day, U/O. JOBIN PAUL and SGT. AKASH S V participated in the poster making competition conducted by the NCC Unit of Pazhassi Raja College on the 26th June. Posters were Designed and circulated and via social media on the dangers of Drugs.   




INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

 

21th June 2020 International Yoga Day was observed by the cadets. Posters were designed and circulated on social media sensitizing the cadets and the public on the importance of Yoga. Cadets engaged in yoga, and list of cadets with photos were mailed to the Bn HQ. 












APPRECIATION CAMPAIGN


16th June 2020 An appreciation campaign for the seven ex-yogdan volunteers from the college who performed duty at District Borders for 10 days was conducted via social media. Posters were designed with the photographs of the volunteers cadets.




ENVIRONMENT DAY

5th June 2020 World Environment Day was observed by cadets. Sapling where planted in the neighborhoods of the houses of the cadets and ANO. Posters were designed and circulated in the social media driving home the importance of Environment protection. 









CORONA DUTY

7 cadets from Government College Mananthavady volunteered for Ex Yogdan Abhiyan at Wayanad district border from 22nd May to 30 1st May. They facilitated the inflow of passengers from other states to Kerala. After that they also underwent quarantine for 14 days.
